- take professional responsibility on all levels in the economy, politics and society
- think and act locally, nationally and internationally

- work with the United Nations and other international organisations

Barbados Food Security Project
Food security is a concern in vulnerable populations. Victims of gender-based violence often do not have sustainable means to obtain food and BPW Barbados wants to change that. In partnership with a local female farmer, BPW Barbados has created a food security project teaching clients of the Shelter how to grow their own food.
Shelter For Battered Women
BPW provides Shelter to female victims of gender-based violence and their children. We cater to domestic violence, intimate partner violence, human trafficking, sexual-abuse, rape and other forms of gender-based violence and exploitation.
