For the past two years, the BPW Barbados Club has hosted a 6 week financial literacy programme to educate and support women in basic financial literacy. From savings to debt management to loans, this programme offers participants key information for a successful financial future.
The Financial Literacy Programme is offered via Zoom and goes from March 25th to April 25th, 2025 from 7pm to 9pm. A host of speakers will be featured from bankers, to debt collectors to business owners. Each week, a presentation will be done on the specific topic then the floor will be open to questions and discussion. Participants are usually from all walks of life, and we welcome their input and feedback.
Two additional sessions will also be presented in person on May 6th and 13th for persons who have attended no less than 4 of the 6 sessions.
